The Willow Care Home

The Willow offers eleven en-suite rooms, a dining area, a living room with a large TV and a sun room where many of our varied daily activities organised by our Activity Manager take place. All of the communal areas underwent total refurbishment in 2016.

We have an annual Garden Party and are delighted to have the garden filled with friends, families, staff and lots of children. We hire a bouncy castle and provide food and drink for all. It really is a super afternoon and the residents can be heard talking about it for days after.

We realise that all of our homes are filled with a lifetime of memories, many of which are attached to belongings, so we welcome families to feel free to rearrange the rooms to suit their loved ones to aid them to feel settled.

Testimonials

“Thank you for making my stay at The Willow so pleasant and for the lovely (and still blooming) flowers when I left. I miss you all and am so grateful for all the kindly care I received. You have set up an unusual – maybe unique – home, caring, welcoming and friendly.”

Dr M from London, Respite post-operative care

“It is very pleasant here, I enjoy it. The other residents are lovely. I like all the carers. I am very happy.”

J.C, Resident

“It’s absolutely perfect, it’s so lovely. If someone asked me what the best place is, I would say here. I love it, I love it, I love everything about it. The food is lovely and you’re always the same. You’re always trying to make things nice.”

B.T, Resident

“I count my blessings living here. Last night we had the television on and there was community singing. The patients were all singing and following the telly. I’ve never been in a place where the patients were happy and singing. I just hope the Lord spares me so that I can enjoy it.”

W.D, Resident

“Dear Willow Staff, thank you so much for all you did for our Granddad. We were so lucky to have found you and have you take care of him.”

N, P, T and D , Relatives

“Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome when I visited my Cousin. I was so pleased to see how well she had settled in. You all seem to make a supreme effort to make your residents feel very much at home.”
